Meet the Team

Dr. Travis Martin is an experienced small animal veterinarian who has called the Pacific Northwest home for over 15 years. Throughout his career, he has served as Medical Director for three veterinary hospitals in the Tacoma and Gig Harbor area, where he developed a reputation for maintaining strong medical standards and fostering long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Passionate about the human–animal bond, Dr. Martin believes in providing care that supports the health of both pets and the people who love them. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys hiking, painting, and photography, as well as tending to his plants. At home, he shares life’s adventures with his four children and two dogs, all of whom keep him grounded and inspired by the joy animals bring to everyday life.

With eight years of experience in the veterinary field, I’ve had the opportunity to work throughout Kitsap and Pierce counties in both privately owned and corporate clinics. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective and helped me grow professionally. Over time, I’ve found that I feel most at home in privately owned practices, where I can focus on building strong relationships and providing more personalized care.

Outside of work, I recently purchased a home in Port Orchard with my husband of nearly two years. We share a busy and fun household with our two rapidly growing teenage children, along with our two kitties—who are, without question, the true celebrities of our home.

Having lived in Kitsap County my entire life, I feel deeply connected to the community I serve. I began working in the veterinary field fresh out of high school at a small, local clinic with a single doctor, where I discovered my passion for animal care. Over the next 15 years, I had the privilege of growing alongside that practice, caring for generations of pets and the families who love them.

Although I briefly explored other career paths, I was always drawn back to veterinary medicine for the sense of purpose and fulfillment it brings. Today, I’m grateful to be part of a team led by a veterinarian who shares my commitment to compassionate, community-focused care—values I believe every pet and owner deserve.
